Bill graduated from UCLA with a BS in Engineering and later after moving to Texas in 1960 earned his MBA in business management from the University of Houston.

  After his tour of duty with the Navy (1953-56) he worked for Baker Oil Tools for 31 years until he retired.

  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eva Louise Schisler Myers, his son William Myers Jr. and his wife, Deanna of Spring, TX; his daughters Margaret Tauzin and husband Jerry of Lafayette, LA, and Elizabeth Zanghi and husband Mike of Katy, TX; his grandchildren Philip and Katherine Zanghi, Lauren Kimble, Jennifer Tauzin Prejean and Jerrel Tauzin; and his great-grandchildren Chandler and Braeden Prejean and Skyler Machelle.
