| Judd
Schoby died April 3, 2008 at O'Conner Hospital in San Jose,
after a struggle with heart disease and diabetes. Judd is
survived by two sons and a nephew. He attended South Gate
High School and participated in the marching band. He also
attended Compton College before being drafted by the U.S.
Army in 1954. After three years he received an Honorable
Discharge. He lived in Lakewood for a number of years before
moving to San Jose and finally settling in Saratoga, CA.
Semi-retired, he drove a school bus for a local school
district; drove a replica, model train at a county park; and
also drove a service van at the retirement community where
he lived. Funeral home of record is the California Cremation
Society. His ashes will be spread at sea near the San
Francisco Bay Bridge. |
