11-18-08...Howdy from Arizona -  Haven't seen any recent updates to the Class of '54 page so I thought I would send along some info I'm proud of.
Nadine and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary this past August.  We actually had several celebrations, rather than one big affair, with
friends and relatives while we were back in California for our annual "get the heck out of the Arizona heat" escape.  Shirely (Thacker) and
John Richter met us for a long breakfast gab fest in Seal Beach and John and Julie Mendell treated us to a gormet dinner at one of Long
Beach's finer establishments.  We also spent 2 days at Disneyland battling the crowds. The place has special memories for us as Nadine
worked there on opening day in 1955 as a summer job.  I would get in free to visit her several times a week as the guards at the employee
entrance knew she was my girl friend and would just wave me through.  I doubt that would work today.

Hope some our classmates will update us on what's going on in their
lives.
Looking forward to our 55th Reunion.
